An Evening of Great Production & Jewish Music: KUMZING 2
This past Wednesday night in Israel in a remote studio location the second KUMZING was filmed. For those who don’t remember, KUMZING was a very unique type of product released just two short years ago. Presented/produced by Shalom Wagshul of Haminagnam Orchestra and Moishy Roth, this product is basically a LIVE Kumzits in a controlled environment. MEANING they invited a few hundred bochurim in Israel to come to a closed studio (like a television studio, a stage and audience) which has hi def equipment to tape + record audio and taped the entire thing. KUMZING 1 went on to sell very well in both Israel and the US. The featured artists included Lipa Schmeltzer, Dovid Gabay, Beri Weber, Yosef Chaim Shwekey, Udi Davidi and Ori Avraham. The DVD/CD also featured special guest Rabbi Chaim Banet and the running time was2 ours and twenty minutes. You can purchase the first KUMZING HERE!.
This time Shalom Wagshul invited over nearly SEVEN HUNDRED bochurim to the set of KUMZING 2 which took six months of preparation. The artist featured included some of todays brightest stars including Yeedle, Shloime Cohen, Aaron Razel, Chaim Israel, and Benny Friedman accompanied by Moishe Roth on the keyboard and an extended Haminagnam orchestra featuring over 20 musicians!!!!.
The singers performed new songs for the first time EVER alongside their biggest hits for these seven hundred lucky fans. Not only did the fans get to watch, but this being KUMZING the fans get to join in Kumzits style and sing along for all to watch and hear.
Only the top companies who have used special equipment for audio, video etc. to suit a production of this size were hired for this one night. They were all brought into one of the biggest recording studio in the country.
Around midnight, this long evening came to an end and Bezalel Street was full if happy bochurim who drank deep from the Hasidic music for the neshama!

Memorable evening, exciting and compelling with a great audience, great dancing and singing that shook the walls of the hall and production kind never seen before Jewish music world.
