Yet out of the darkness emerged miracles of historic proportion. That attack shook Israel awake, revealing the ring of fire that encircled her. And in the span of just two short years, one enemy after another was brought low. Hezbollah’s leaders fell, their arsenals destroyed. Syria collapsed as its depots were obliterated. Hamas, buried in their own tunnels, continue to regret their crimes of that fateful day. Yemen’s power was broken. And Iran—the head of the serpent—saw its nuclear ambitions go up in smoke. We may not understand Hashem’s ways, but we cannot ignore His mighty hand. The truth is, He was never asleep—it was us. And now, Am Yisrael has awoken.
