Tears At Binyanei HaUma: Shmulik Klein’s Stirring Performance of The Hit “Lir’ot Banim”
This was perhaps the highlight of the launch concert for Shmulik Klein’s album “Shmuel Aleph” at Binyanei HaUma. The lights dimmed, Lipa Schmeltzer stood on stage with his paintbrush, and Shmulik Klein moved the entire hall with an unforgettable rendition of his hit “Lir’ot Banim“—a performance that brought tears flowing freely.
As the song unfolded, the musical giant Lipa Schmeltzer translated the emotions and the music directly onto canvas. The result is a deeply moving live video and a single painting that encapsulates it all: the journey, the pain, and the special prayer, “Vezakeini Lir’ot Banim“.
