International superstar singer Yaakov Shwekey made a huge move in his impressive career this week. The new hall called Heichal Hapis Arena in Yerushalayim, which is considered one of the biggest halls in Israel, opened on Monday with an impressive concert of Jewish music. This event finished off the Yom Yerushalayim celebrations in the capital.
Starting right from the beginning of the event, everyone in the audience was able to feel the refreshing new sense in the hall, in a way that hasn’t really ever been felt in Jewish music. The beautiful stage was prepared and decorated specially for the event, together with special lighting and multimedia, which gave an incredible feeling up on the stage.
The crowd enjoyed new performances and arrangements of some of the classics and new Shwekey songs, conducted by maestro Rafi Greidi together with a huge orchestra from Sharon Daniel Productions. During the show Shwekey invited singers Dudu Aharon, the adult group Moetzet Ha’Shira Ha’Yehudit, and the children’s choir Muzikids, for duets and other surprise medleys.
The event was produced by the office that produces Yaakov Shwekey, Sharon Daniel Productions, together with the help of the municipality of Yerushalayim.
