Introducing… Yoni Z!
By: Mini Z (Jacob Friedman)
Get Ready for Yoni Z, the newest talent on the Jewish Music scene! He is young, energetic, enthusiastic, and full of life. You may ask, how did this young man get started? Let me tell you… after being approached by his Rebbe in Yeshiva five years ago who praised him for his talent and his persistence, Yoni made up his mind to go after his dream. Since then he has performed at hundreds of weddings, numerous fundraisers, and several concerts, quickly gaining a large fan base. Just before the Three Weeks, he concluded his first tour, performing across the United States. Now he’s gearing up for his next tour to Europe. Yoni will be doing shows in cities such as Paris, London, and Milan which will include a brand-new set and hi tech lighting. Many of these performances will be to raise Tzedaka for various Kiruv and Chesed organizations.
Just recently Yoni signed with the multitalented, Yanky Katina, as his producer. Yanky has been involved in many behind-the-scenes projects for the biggest names in the industry and has a lot of experience in the field which therefore makes him a perfect candidate for Yoni to choose. Yanky is one of the most requested guitarists as well. He has been propositioned by several artists but did not accept the job at the time but now he has accepted the position as Producer/Manager to Yoni. It’s a perfect partnership between these two because of their similar ideas and like minds. I’m sure when working together, they can generate fantastic results.
Before Europe, Yoni will be stopping off in Los Angeles (Chol Hamoed Succos) to headline what’s expected to be a “dazzling show” for a crowd of over 3,000 people. The show also promises to be of very high energy and one not to be forgotten! The theme of the tour will be “If You Believe”. In Yoni’s words “If you believe in yourself, have the proper Siyata Dishmaya and take on the necessary discipline, you can accomplish anything”. Yoni has some other surprises up his sleeve so stay tuned. This is only the beginning of a long and exciting journey!Tweet
