Elchanan Elchadad & Kobi Brummer In A New Yeshiva Duet – “Anim Zemirot”
After a series of singles with an Israeli atmosphere that they each released separately, and a Chassidic album that is being cooked up by Brummer, Elchanan Elchadad and Kobi Brummer join forces and launch “Anim Zemirot”. It is an authentic, sweeping, and exciting Yeshiva hit that comes out at exactly the right timing.
A moment after Shavuot, when the voice of the Torah was chanted in the Beit Midrash, the two present a song of longing that springs from the heart. The familiar and moving words from “Shir Hakavod” are wrapped in a new and touching melody by Elchadad.
Elchadad says of the interesting composition: “After I composed these lofty lyrics, I immediately looked for a duet for it. It was no coincidence that I met with Kobi shortly after, played him the outline of the song, and we immediately decided that this would be our duet. The essence of the Jewish path is the longing and yearning for Hashem, at all times and in all situations.”
