Yossi Green “Reichtum” ft. Yossi Zucker
“Reichtum” or רייכטום is the Yiddish word for Wealth, and in our case, “True Wealth.”
This composition and its unique production came about after I received a phone call from my son, Shmaya Green ני”ו, telling me that I just had to meet a friend of his, named Yossi Zucker ני”ו. Shmaya told me that Yossi Z had a most unique voice and style of singing and advised me to sit with him at my piano and write a song that’s befitting his unique vocal style. We subsequently met at my home and after getting to know Yossi Z and his whole wonderful group of friends, Yossi showed me this text from the Lubavitcher Rebbe זי”ע describing what “True Wealth” meant for Yidden. I was so deeply moved by these Yiddish words and בס”ד the musical ideas just began to flow, resulting in this song and production.
As Yossi Z‘s voice soared through the studio, his heartfelt rendition of these holy words brought tears to our eyes. His raw emotion and spiritual depth resonated deeply, moving everyone in the room. We were all captivated by the beauty and sincerity of his vocals, which seemed to capture the essence of these sacred words. This young artist’s gift will surely touch the hearts of Klal Yisrael, inspiring and uplifting all who hear him

On this song I am working with an outstanding Arranger named David Ihilevitch ני”ו. David brings a new style of musical arrangements that is opening new worlds for me personally and I am deeply grateful to him for this. I can’t wait already for our next production together, .אי”ה
