Yonatan Razel “Neve Tlaot” The First Single Ahead of New Album

Neve Tlaot” is Yonatan Razel‘s new single ahead of his new album, that comes 5 years after the smashing success of his last album “Bein HaTzlilim“. The last album reached platinum status and included the hits “Katonti”, “Hagaagua”, “Bein Hatzlilim”, and “Ashira”. The album also won the song of the year award from ACUM in Israel and Idud Hayetzira award from the government of Israel.

The new album due out n the coming months will include 12 songs all written, composed, and produced by Yonatan himself. Yonatan describes the new song: “I remember the moment the song was born, in my living room in Jerusalem after some deep inner reflection, I started to look at the world in a different light. To look at life as a journey, a journey of highs and lows that lead to deep heartfelt happiness. Not to always expect peace and tranquility and to be disappointed all the time rather the opposite, but to understand and appreciate and be ready for the tests in life which are meant to bring us to a higher place at the end, to a sweeter place. As I played this to myself, I thought about us, our situation sometimes and let out a scream: “Hashkifa M’maon kodshecha u’barech… ubarech…”

Yonatan Razel, a father to six kids splits his day between learning torah and writing and creating music. He was born in New York and moved to Israel at a young age. As a younger child he already began his music career with learning classical music and playing the piano and cello. In 2007 he released his debut album titled “Sach Hakol” and in 2008 he performed the now very famous song “Vhei Sheamda” with Yaakov Shwekey which quickly turned into a huge hit and was picked as the song of the decade and paved the way into the Israeli mainstream. With his album “Bein Hatzlilim” in 2012 he captured the hearts of the religious and secular people alike. The last few years, he has been performing non stop in Israel and abroad and gathering material for his new and intriguing album.
