NOTE: THERE IS A STORY BEHIND THIS WHOLE SONG PRODUCTION….. I just recorded this song with my choir the past day, March 9, 2025, at choir practice.
I set up a portable recording studio and hit record….What a great recording session!
This song was made up the night before my mother passed away on Monday, March 10, 1997,
after a prolonged illness. (Rosh Chodesh Adar Bais 5757). I was young at the time….
Though I felt it was a great song from heaven, I could never get myself to produce it.
For years, it just sat. This year, G-d kept on putting in my head to put it out. It’s entitled Mishenichnas Adar Marbim B’simcha. I just made up the musical introduction a few days ago. I submitted my arrangement to Yoel Weiss, literally, this past Thursday, March 6 2025,
and by today, Monday, March 10 2025, it’s ready for release, exactly 28 years later to the day!
28 is the numerical equivalent of the hebrew word Koach….”Strength”….
Hashem gave me the Koach to finally put out this song in her memory!
Thank G-d, by partnering with Yoel, we were able to bring out this song to a whole new level! I dedicate this song to my beloved mother’s memory….Rivka Bas Shmuel…(Bald). She was a gem of a person! It was long in the making…..but everything in life has its moment….
And now, exactly 28 years later….it is that moment!
May her memory be for a blessing!
