The Hit That Conquered The Yeshivot Is Officially Released: Dudy Frishman – “Lemala Aleh”

After becoming a hit in yeshivot following his appearance in the quarter-finals of the show “Hakol Hachadash“, musician and songwriter Dudy Frishman officially releases the single “Lemala Aleh“. The song brings contemporary Israeli pop that combines deep Jewish content with a message of encouragement and faith, aimed directly at yeshivot students and the younger generation. At its center are original verses written and composed by Frishman from a musical motif that accompanied him on the guitar, leading to a simple and direct chorus that corresponds with Rav Kook’s famous reading in “Kanfei Ruach.”

The song was born from coping with the erosion of routine and the longing for the spiritual fire and life of the yeshiva days, for that inner belief that a person can grow and become great and special. Inspired by the teachings of Rabbi Nachman that “there is no despair in the world at all,” Frishman conveys to listeners a strengthening message: It is never too late to shake off the dust and choose renewal. Which is formulated in the distilling line: “Pain is temporary, successes are sweet” – a small candle that helps not to lose your way in moments of difficulty and fatigue.

Frishman, who has been performing and creating for nearly a decade, moves on the broad line between the Chassidic communities and the national-religious public, and connects all ends of the spectrum in his work. Over the years, he has been involved in musical education and at gatherings, and now he is focusing on performances and new projects.
