Spodik – Shia Gefen, Yoely Klein & Shaya Gross
Chassidim from past generations expressed a longing for a time when they would have kept a Spodik (a traditional hat) from an elder just to show the children how a true Jew once walked.
Years later, the Spodik still carries significance, Judaism grows and flourishes, and we want to remember those bygone days — the joyful times when the light of our holy Rebbes, of blessed memory, illuminated the world.
The renowned singer Shia Gefen, together with Yoely Klein and Shaya Gross, have revitalized the old sacred saying, bringing it closer to this essence in the form of a beautiful new melody, now presented by the master producer Moshe Yakob.
Listen and enjoy!
