Third Single For Aviram Shoukron “Million Derachim”
Promising singer and songwriter Aviram Shoukron (37) from Petach Tikva, one of the greatest promises of Jewish music today, releases his third single – “Million Derachim” – in which he continues to pour his inner, spiritual and faith-based world into his musical creation.
Shoukron, who invests his early morning hours studying in the kollel, brings with him extensive years of stage experience. He is a graduate of the former Military Rabbinate Choir and its commander, a backup singer for the world-renowned singer Avraham Fried, a cantor and poet on Shabbat and holidays, and a host of groom and bar mitzvah Shabbat throughout the country. All this alongside a full debut album on the way – “Hayom Lifnei Machar“.
“Million Derachim” is the third single from the album, in which Shoukron illustrates a wish that is common to all of us – to find the way to Hashem. Everyday life, with all its burdens and plans, does not always leave us room to stop and give thanks. The song describes the eternal expectation of redemption, the desire to find the balance between routine and life itself – and the powerful unity in the midst of all difficulties.
“And if we almost broke, we gave it all, that you would only see us, we do not look back again…” – thus ends the chorus, in a great call to Hashem to hear our prayer with mercy.
As a complete creator in every sense of the word – Shoukron alone wrote the lyrics, the melody, the arrangement and the musical production. The single marks a new position in his artistic development: for the first time, a rhythmic song in a modern and energetic pop production, with guitars and wind instruments – in the lead up to more songs Rhythms on the way. The new song continues the line that began with “D’maot” and “Halevai Hayiti” – and proves that Shoukron is building a complete, personal and exciting creative world step by step.
