Shaya Ilowitz Releases His Debut Single “Sameach” FREE DOWNLOAD

If you were among the thousands that tuned in on December 9th to the annual RCCS Live Auction Drawing, then amidst the well known talented singer/performers you were introduced to up and coming talent Shaya Ilowitz. While some have never heard of Shaya, upon closer examination however, one can see that Shaya has been around for the last three years performing at wedding and simchas as well as being a member of the famed Yedidim choir.

If you go further back (some 15 years or so) you will actually see that Shaya’s father is the famed Moshe Ilowitz who released two albums (Vyaazor & Tatenyu) back in the late 90’s.

In a few weeks the world renown composer/arranger choir master Mona Rosenblum is set to release his latest masterpiece Mona 6, and featured alongside some of the biggest talents of this generation will be Shaya Ilowitz. Ilowitz was also a featured vocalist on a Sefira CD released last year called “Sfirish” and most recently this past summer on an album called “Hadran Aloch” presented by Yeshivas Aish Kodesh.

As much as he has been around, Shaya has yet to release his OWN project. Until now. The mega talented Avrumi Berko who has been one of Jewish music’s best kept secrets, composed, arranged AND produced this debut single from Shaya Ilowitz. The song “Sameach“ really showcases Shaya’s vocal ability and features a child solos by Chesky Herzog as well as a choral choir arranged by Avrumi Berko. Berko has been playing/performing at hundreds of weddings over the last few years, and is now taking his talents to the next level with the release of this new single show how he is now a triple threat. The song will be available as a FREE download on MostlyMusic.com later tonight or tomorrow.
