On The Yartzeit of Chani Laufer, Composer & Songwriter Moshe Laufer Presents: A Moving Memorial Song, “Tefilat Chana”

On the anniversary of the passing of Chani Laufer, composer and songwriter Moshe Laufer is releasing a new and touching song – “Tefilat Chana“. The song was born out of deep pain and great faith, and was composed immediately after the days of shiva. Its lyrics are drawn from the verses of the Tefilas Chana from the book of Shmuel 1, a prayer that accompanied the late Chani throughout her life and was a source of joy, connection and light for her. The song is performed by his son Eli Laufer, together with international artist Dudu Fischer.

Moshe Laufer writes: “There is no prayer that can express the character and actions of Chani more than Tefilat Chana. Her prayer was always in her mouth, her heart was exalted in Hashem. She sanctified the name of heaven in our home and everywhere in her gracious way. This song is a request, a memory, and a prayer – that she will be a beacon of righteousness for all of us, and that we will continue to follow her true and pure path.”

Composition and arrangement: Moshe Laufer
Vocals and choirs: Eli Laufer and Dudu Fischer
Musical production: Benny Laufer
Mixing: Yaniv Blass
