Something went wrong with the connection!

The verse “מֵקִימִי מֵעָפָר דָּל, מֵאַשְׁפֹּת יָרִים אֶבְיוֹן” is familiar from Hallel and carries a powerful message. Hashem is always with us, lifting up even those at the lowest points, even from the dust and the garbage. It is no coincidence that Hallel opens with these words. They remind us from the very start that no matter where we are or how distant we feel, Hashem is the one who raises us up. Even when we do not feel it ourselves, He is there, ready to lift us higher.

This song came down to us during Pesach in OHRLando. As many know, Orlando has become a popular destination for Pesach, with families from across the Jewish world gathering in rental communities to celebrate Yom Tov. It is a beautiful and relaxing experience, but a few years ago a group of chevra decided they wanted to bring something deeper along with them. They wanted the energy, the connection and the fire they were used to throughout the year. That is how the TYH Shul, which became known as OHRLando was born.

Instead of treating davening on vacation as something to take lightly, they recognized the immense spiritual potential of Pesach. This is a time filled with deep emunah, freedom and closeness to Hashem. They made a decision to create a davening experience that would be electric, filled with inspiring melodies, lively singing and real connection. People came from all over, drawn in by the energy, and in that uplifting atmosphere this song was born.

Sing this song at your Seder or during Hallel and tap into that same energy. Let it be a reminder of Hashem’s constant presence and His unwavering ability to lift us up from anywhere.
