“Big Up The Light” – Hanukkah Concert To Raise Funds For Displaced Israeli Families

On October 7th, 2023, Israel faced an attack, with one of the hardest-hit areas by rocket fire being the communities in Ashkelon. Due to continuous rocket fire, hundreds were displaced—either from direct hits on their housing complexes or due to the fear of such outcomes. While the government is actively engaged in combating Hamas and protecting citizens, there is currently evacuation aid only for families within a 7-kilometer radius of the Gaza Strip due to financial constraints. Our commitment involves aiding these families, recognizing that our efforts will significantly contribute to healing the wounds inflicted during this extraordinary period of tragedy.

The allocated funds will be directed towards securing housing and addressing the basic accommodation requirements for the community in the upcoming months. Ideally, we aim to establish a more permanent support system for these individuals.
