Clarinet For Shabbat: The “Chasdei Hashem” Medley On Lag BaOmer In Meron With Clarinetist David Kleiger [Watch!]
Clarinetist David Kleiger celebrates his birthday this week. In honor of the occasion he presents the “Chasdei Hashem” medley that he played less than a month ago in the Courtyard in Meron on the last Lag BaOmer.
This is how Kleiger describes it:
“These were the most sublime moments, after so much effort and long hours to reach the Holy Tzion/kever. Despite all the obstacles, walking in the mud and other obstacles, and after arriving with a heartfelt prayer for the people of Israel that they too would be blessed to arrive, I went up to play in the courtyard of the Holy Zion. A cry of gratitude to Hashem burst from my heart, for the great privilege of rejoicing with Rabbi Shimon at his ‘wedding’.”
