There’s a certain itch during the dinner set, that restless energy as everyone waits to get back on the dance floor. The room hums with anticipation, and you need just the right tune to keep it alive without spilling over too soon. “Meheira” had been sitting in our back pocket for a while, and with a musical Chosson in the room, we knew it was the perfect time to bring it out. Yidi Bialostozky’s energy met the signature Mendy Hershkowitz Band feel in the best possible way, and that funky pulse carried the crowd effortlessly until it was time to hit the dance floor again.
