The Adventures of Agent Emes – Episode 10 – Agent Emes vs. The Karrupter
Leibel Cohen, creator of Agent Emes, professionally-made DVD adventures for Jewish families, has just released the 10th episode in the wildly popular series, “Agent Emes Vs. The Karrupter.” Set in the fictional Jewish town of “Shpittsburgh” Agent Emes chronicles the exploits of a school-age yeshiva boy who dons a fedora, fake mustache, sunglasses and trenchcoat and goes out to fight the forces of evil. Each episode contains a creative mix of humor, mystery, adventure, and Torah lessons, in a package that appeals to children and adults of all ages. “Agent Emes Vs. The Karrupter” is the final episode that will star Yissachar Shollar, the young man who took over the title role from Cohen’s son, Sholom Ber, two years ago. It also introduces a new super villain, “The Karrupter” (Marty Giles), whose goal to freeze Jewish enthusiasm for Torah creates a enormous challenge for the junior secret Agent. “I’m very excited about this new episode,” says Cohen. “Marty’s performance is fantastic and the special effects must be seen, to be believed. “Our goal was to convey fundamental spiritual concepts in a fresh and exciting ways, and I think we achieved it.” Cohen is also keyed up about imminent plans to release Agent Emes in Israel, complete with professional Hebrew-speaking actors doing the voices. “I see no reason why the kids in Israel won’t take to Agent E the same way kids here have. We’ve been selling the English version is Israel for several years, but now we will reach a whole new audience. I couldn’t be more thrilled.” Available now through Sameach Music.
