With the rebuilding of the Temple still on our minds following the three weeks and Tisha B’av, and with Elul bringing us closer to the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, this song is a reminder that no matter what is happening in our lives, G-d is close and redemption is ever so near.
Chaya Sarah Eskenazi composed this song during trying times
with lyrics from Yeshayahu the prophet which are found in the Haftorah of Parshas Noach
and Parshas Ki Seitzei.
We hope this song inspires others for years to come and may G-d bring the ultimate redemption speedily in our days.
