New Single From Yaakov Markowitz – “Army of The Broken”

Yaakov Markowitz, a native of the Five Towns, has been composing songs since he was 13. Now 24, he is out with his debut single “Army of the Broken”.

Several years ago, while attending a shiur, Yaakov learnt of the Passuk “השלך על ה׳ יהבך, והוא יכלכלך” and of its importance in developing/strengthening our bitachon in Hashem. The Rav said he had made a personal connection with this Passuk, and Yaakov subsequently decided to do the same, and has reminded himself of it over the years whenever a difficult situation has occurred.

Markowitz knew right after that shiur that this Passuk deserved to be way more famous, and therefore contemplated the thought of making it into a song. Since then, he has created his debut single “Army of The Broken” to successfully accomplish that goal, and it is his hope that the song will help others through tough times as well.
