With The Piano & The Kittel: Hershy Eisenbach & Shimmy Sklar In A Special Acoustic Performance of “V’hi SheAmda”
In the shadow of the war, and in anticipation of Pesach, singer Hershy Eisenbach and keyboardist Shimmy Sklar release a new performance of Yerachmiel Begun‘s immortal melody “V’hi SheAmda.” With the words of the Haggadah taking on a more current and tangible meaning than ever, the current performance is presented in an acoustic arrangement, with the two accompanied by wind artist Dor Asraf.
The clip, filmed in a “Misubin” atmosphere around the piano, seeks to give visual and musical expression to the supplication and longing alongside gratitude for the miracles – “V’Hakadosh Baruch Hu Matzilainu Miyadam.”
