When The Mashal Becomes A Tefilla: Shia Fried In His Debut Single – “Ka’eyl Ta’arug”
Making music has always been something deeply personal to me, and this song is no exception. It began with a question. I wanted to better understand the mashal of “K’ayol Ta’arog” and how it connects to the nimshal of our relationship with Hashem.
As I learned and reflected, something clicked. I realized that the nimshal isn’t just an explanation, it’s a tefillah. A heartfelt request that our souls should long for Hashem with the same natural yearning expressed in the mashal.
My hope is that this song helps bring those words to life, and that together we can truly feel their meaning.
I’d love to hear your feedback!
