Two Years of Longing, One Memory That Never Fades, & An Exciting Musical Collaboration Born From Bereavement & Hope: The Sharon Avilachak / Bechar Brothers Project – “Nish’ar Haga’agua”

The esteemed musician, creator, and DJ Sharon Avilachak is currently launching a new and intriguing personal project: “The Sharon Avilachak Project.” A new musical endeavor that brings together all the worlds in which he operates: as a writer, composer, producer, arranger, and DJ who has been at the heart of the events and joys of the Jewish people for years. After years of working behind the scenes, Sharon is embarking on a personal project in which he will host various artists, and will also perform selected songs himself, as he has done in the past.

Sharon chose to release the first single in the project with the Bechar Brothers, natural partners on the journey. Their previous collaboration, on the successful remake of the song “Elokai Neshama” with singer Avishai, touched many hearts and was a great success.

Nish’ar Haga’agua” was born from a charged and emotional meeting in the studio. There, memories became sounds, and pain became words. Despite the time that has passed, the message of the song is clear and resonates: Even as the days, weeks, and years pass, the longing remains deep, alive, and kicking.

These days, when the people of Israel are in a complex struggle and are faced with threats from far and near, the song by Avilachak and the brothers Yedidia and Shlomi seeks to provide comfort and a place for the heart to weep, but also to grow stronger.

Sharon says: “From my daily engagement with celebrations and events, I encounter the people of Israel in all its shades. This project was born to give expression to the entire spectrum of emotions, from the quiet and moving moments to songs that will make the stage jump. Starting the project with the Bechar brothers with a song in memory of the late Yehuda is a powerful and moving closing of a circle.”
