Shwekey to Make History Today!

Shwekey to Make History Today!

After a month of intensive sales, yesterday it was announced that Yaakov Shwekey sold out all tickets for his upcoming concert “Shir L’Chayalim“ at the famed Nokia Arena. Tickets only went on sale three weeks ago and they set a new record for being the fastest selling ever. Tonight history will be made as 160 musicians will take the stage at the Nokia Arena, a first for Israel!!!. Not only that, but the Israeli secular media is saying that the production for this concert is the biggest and most expensive setup Israel has EVER seen.

Joining Yaakov Shwekey on stage for this momentous event will be world renown Israeli superstar Shlomi Shabat, child star Mishel Cohen, Metalish and Lt. Colonel – IDF Cheif Cantor Shai Avramson. The show is being produced by the dynamic team of Yochi Briskman and Sharon Daniel Yochi Briskman. The show entitled “Shir L’Chayalim” is Shwekey’s way of expressing his great appreciation for people who give their lives every day – hour by hour for the people and the country of Israel, IDF soldiers.

We have learned that two NEW songs will be debuted at the show BOTH composed by the multi-talented composer Yitzy Waldner.

This show will be recorded by multi-cameras in HD, and later will be released as a DVD/Double CD.
