Shlomo Katz Live in Melbourne Singing Ko Ribon With Harry Angus
Aderet Music presents this video clip from the Shlomo Katz Double CD now in stores. Here is Shlomo to tell us the story behind this video.
“After a long journey, we finally landed in Melbourne. My wife Bina, ten month old Tiferet and myself. While waiting by the special cargo for my instrument, I met Harry who was waiting for his trumpet. We started talking, and mentioned that I have a show later in the week at the Phoenix Theater. Surprisingly, the guy shows up, armed with his trumpet. A friend tells me to call him up for a song and join us on one of my older niggunim. He joins us on stage and from the first note he creates magic, elevating the entire night to the next level. After the show I see a line of people waiting for his autograph. Little did I know, this guest artist is part of one of the most popular and dynamic bands in Australia called ‘The Cat Empire’. Thank you Harry Angus.”
