Rabbi Yitzchok Rubin Releases Debut Album “Ya-er” [Audio Sampler]
Rabbi Yitzchok Rubin just released his first album titled “Ya-er“!
After decades of singing, performing, and composing, the moment has finally come. All the compositions featured on this album are Yitzschok’s original tunes and songs that he composed over the past two decades. Yitzchok is no stranger to the music business. He composed a song on Yosef Chaim Shwekey’s debut album titled “Torasi” as well as he sang on Ari Golwag’s “Shabbos Get Ready” album and Yisroel Borchov‘s “Achai V’reiay”.
Both the album’s cover song, Ya-er and the song Dai-Dai, have been receiving the strongest reviews so far.
The word “Ya-er” means to “light up”. Every person has a mission to add light to the world, to bring light into the lives of others, and to light up the darkness.
Be on the look out for an amazing music video for the song Dai-Dai in the next coming weeks.
Zachor, the one English song on this album, has a very deep message. To hold onto the mesorah and remember where we come from and our mission.
The album was recorded in honor of Rubin’s son Avi’s Bar Mitzvah, which took place on January 4, 2016.
