Moty Shriki – Ohr Chodosh
Moty Shriki, who has become quite popular in the past year or so in the world of music, is now releasing a brand new and original album, completely written and composed by himself. As such, the album is very personal and emotional, written with material from events in his life. With the release of this first single its clear that Shriki’s musical direction is gravitating towards the general mainstream in Israeli music.
Shriki has been performing with his own band, called the Kumi Ori band, or by himself as a freelance singer, all over the world. Besides singing at weddings and other events, he fills concert halls with his heartfelt material, and opening for major concerts of singers like Shuli Rand and others. Moty is frequently a guest star at the Chol Hamoed concerts in Chevron, Yerushalayim, and elsewhere.
His debut album displays his tremendous musical talent, and the album cover was actually designed by him as well! Both Moty and arranger/producer Avi Tal co-produced the album together, and the music was done by some of the biggest names in the Israeli market, such as Amit Yitzchak on guitars, and Avi Avidani on drums.
