Moshe Zaretsky In A New & Exciting Vocal Song: A Personal Melody From The Depths of The Soul

Singer and composer Moshe Zaretsky is releasing a new and unique vocal single, which brings a moving melody that he wrote and composed in his youth, in the midst of moving moments in his life. Amid a deep sense of loneliness and pain, an intimate melody was born that now receives new life in its full and mature performance.

The song “Heyay na KarovZaretsky‘s eighth single, now released for the first time in a vocal version – is composed on the words of the “An’enu” prayer, which is said during public fasting, a prayer that seeks an answer in times of distress, and which contains within it a longing for connection and grace. There is nothing more appropriate than a song like this for the three weeks.

“This melody has been with me for years. Every prayer during the fast for the past 17 years, I have sung it to myself. During the war, I felt that this longing was shared by all of our people – “Father, please be near our cry.” Only now did I feel not only that I was ready to share it with the world, but that the world is in a place where it cries out for it. This is my prayer and ours,” says Moshe Zaretsky.

The single is being released at a sensitive and inspiring time, and reflects Zaretsky‘s unique musical path, between the world of emotion, Jewish identity and personal sound. And there is nothing more appropriate than a song like this for the Three Weeks.
