Mizumin – A Brand New Group!

After a hotter than hot summer, get ready for a new album that really sizzles!
Mizumin, an all new CD, features the voices of the very talented Heshy Rubin, Gideon Levine and Srully Williger.
Heshy Rubin released his first album, Let There Be Peace, in 1999, after being urged by both Mordechai Ben David and Sheya Mendlowitz to share his music with the world. After singing his emotional composition about Holocaust survivors “Who’s Gonna Tell Their Story” at Lincoln Center in 2006, Rubin felt the need to share more of his compositions, though not as a solo artist. He recruited Srully Williger to join him and when they recorded their first song at Gideon Levine’s GYL Studios, they realized they had found their third voice, with Levine rounding out the mizumin.
Featuring seven songs by Rubin himself, and songs by Yossi Green, Tzali Stern and a classic song by R’ Yechiel Mechel Rubin, A’H, this ten song album features music that is fresh and innovative, without ever losing its Yiddishe ta’am. With arrangements by musical greats Yisroel Lamm and Yaron Gershovsky and vocal arrangements by Gideon Levine, this album, which is set to debut after Yom Kippur, will be a welcome addition to the Jewish music scene.
In the coming weeks expect to see much more, including additional photos, an incredible video promo, audio sampler, the cover and more details on the album and new group.
