Something went wrong with the connection!

The Maccabeats – Rosh Hashanah Card

Took a little break from our Rosh Hashanah preparations to put together this short clip. As far as we know, this is the first time an a cappella group (or any group, for that matter) has recorded whistling in harmony.

The tune we are whistling is over eleven centuries old and is traditionally sung as an introduction to the evening (maariv) high holiday services.

We’ll get back to singing in our next video. We have some great projects in the works for 5773!
