A new song by internationally renowned Chassidic singer Shmueli Ungar, created to strengthen the world of Torah and encourage yeshiva students to continue their Torah study with dedication, devotion, and unwavering commitment.

The song’s unique cover artwork, featuring a yeshiva student in handcuffs, carries a special meaning. It was chosen in light of the recent arrests of yeshiva students and reflects the sense of pain felt by the Torah-learning community during this time.

Despite all the challenges and hardships, the song’s central message is that Torah students will continue to devote themselves to Torah study with diligence and dedication, and that Torah is the source of strength for the Jewish people. As the song’s lyrics declare, “varf avech yeder yuch”- throw away all of your burdens- so too is the hope and prayer that through the continued dedication to Torah study, every burden will be lifted from those who devote themselves to learning Torah.
