Introducing: ZUSHA
Zusha was formed in the East Village of New York City, by three neo-Hasidic friends with less passion for college and more passion for music. Borrowing lines from ancient liturgy, Zusha’s music is a blend of folk, jazz, reggae, ska, gypsy swing, and traditional Jewish soul. The result is a dynamic sound that is at times raw & rustic and at times gentle & poignant, while at other times you just can’t help but get up and dance. They have been crafting musical explorations in New York City for a few years now, creating mystical musical melodies in holy friends’ homes and abodes.
Listen to “Yoel’s Niggun” a track off their debut EP
EP Available 10/28. Pre-order one at WWW.ZUSHA.COM.
