Over the last few years JM fans have been introduced to one of the most creative a capella groups there are. Their name “Shir Soul.” The have thrilled us with their video of “Adon Olam” with members on the group singing an impromptu rendition while sitting on the steps in someones house. The video boasts over 35,00 hits as does their music video released last Chanukah “Timeless As The Stars.” This year the group decided to release a video in more of an oldschool Jewish songs with of course a Sir Soul twist.
The new video is a mashup of some classic Jewish Chanukah songs like “Mi Yimalel“, “Ma’oz Tzur” and “Dreidel.” What I like about this video is that its pure acapella, and the shtick with the dreidels standing for different position within the a capella group was a nice twist. With these guys with their amazing blend of voices, you just can’t help but feel the warmth from the candlelight.
