Chasidic Singer Simcha Friedman Releases New Single With A Powerful Message
After capturing the radio stations with the hit “Bkarov (Yitgadal)”, Chasidic singer Simcha Friedman has released a new single.
Titled “Avur Misheu Acher” – “for someone else,” the song has an Israeli style, full of warmth and meaning.
“Avur Misheu Acher” is the second single released from Friedman’s debut album, this time he also composed the song himself. The lyrics are by his sister, Channah Friedman-Ullman.
The lyrics talk about the need of every individual to stop thinking about himself for a moment, to leave the endless cycle of selfishness, and pray (for a change) – for someone else.
The unique and relatable words, the complex yet simple tune, along with expert sound engineering of Yuval Stuppel, and Friedman’s voice – all blend together in a magic harmony and create one of the most beautiful songs ever published in the Jewish-Israeli music.
