Charedi Singer Itzik Dadya Gets Drafted To Tzahal & Releases A New Single “Shivyon Banetel”

Orthodox Mediterranean pop star Itzik Dadya, began his musical career 3 years ago at the young age of 16. Over the years Dadya has gained large exposure in the media, and a warm reception from radio stations, and countless performances in Israel and abroad. Dadya’s resume boasts two studio albums and two LIVE DVD’s.

On Thursday 08/08/13 a 19-year-old Itzik Dadya announced that he was joining the army, and contributing to Israeli society and Israel. Itzik released a new single in honor of the occasion and to help him adjust through the change in his life he is currently going through. “Shivyon Banetel” with lyrics written by Dadya’s personal manager David Fadida was paired together with a beautiful melody of the world renown U.S. musician/composer Yossi Green featuring arrangements by Eliyahu Klein and Yitzy Beri.

Just moments before Itzik Dadya donned his uniform for the first time, he told Channel 2 News “I have friends who are learning in yeshivot and Kollolim, I have their back and this morning I enlisted the army to help them continue to sit and study Torah which protects Israel. I invite those who do not learn to come and join, and contribute yourself.”
