Barak Grossberg’s Debuts Album: Rotzeh L’hargiya

After a tour of performances at Chabad houses in Hawaii, Europe and throughout the US, Chabad singer-songwriter Barak Grossberg, known for his music videos, previous songs and numerous performances, is now launching a debut album, which brings an intriguing combination of pop, rock and Chabad melodies.

Along with the album is a new single clip – ‘Rotzeh L’hargiya‘, which is the album’s theme song. The song brings a strengthening message: to relax and trust in Hashem “to release everything and take it away from here”. The song talks about a person who wants to disconnect for a moment from the physical and noisy reality of everyday life and connect with himself and his heart, to let Hashem lead everything
and connect to a more Hasidic point.

The song was produced by the Chabad producer Efi Shiner, who produced most of the album’s songs and has recently become a sought-after name. The clip was produced, filmed and edited by Chabad filmmaker Eyal Zion.

The clip was filmed in Spain and Israel and documents Barak‘s journey, who was invited to perform at the Chabad community in Barcelona, led by Rabbi David Liberzon, and depicts the moments from the airport, the performance, the study of Malchut, the prayer with the guitar in front of the sea, to the return home, to his family and children in the center of Tel Aviv. All this while walking the streets of anti-Semitic Barcelona with Jewish pride, wearing symbols such as a turban, a hat and a Chabad beard.

Barak is a world-renowned Chabad singer, composer and guitarist who has collaborated on stage with big names in music such as: Yishai Ribo, Avraham Fried, Shuli Rand, Akiva, Naor Carmi and more.

The album also includes Chabad melodies that Barak renewed together with Chabad singers Simcha Friedman and Ariel Zilber that are played every day on the various radio stations alongside notable songs released in the past year, such as: “You Are Always Here” which was released in a music video with Yaakov Blinik, the survivor of the massacre in Ra’im on Simchat Torah on October 7th and “Not Late” which has over a million views on YouTube.
