Aviad Derf In A New Single That Brightens The Day: “Boker Tov” (Tatte Thank You)

After a series of musical releases that captured hearts, singer and songwriter Aviad Derf releases a new single “Boker Tov” (Tatte Thank You), a colorful, brilliant and energetic work that reminds us all: Even when everything is not perfect, there is always something to be thankful for.

Aviad, who is establishing his status as one of the freshest, most honest and intriguing voices in Jewish-Israeli music, presents a song that combines modern pop, great soul and a wink of humor that lifts even the grayest day.

The song was written and composed by Aviad Derf, Efi Sheiner and Chesed David Derf, with Efi Sheiner‘s arrangement and musical production giving it a light, addictive and precise pop-reggae envelope, one that gets into the ear and refuses to come out.

When a chorus like: “Sunshine in the sky, rain on my lips, I have nothing to complain about – just say, ‘Baruch HaShem’ is heard for the first time – you immediately understand why it’s going to be a daily hymn of thanks.

Aviad: “I wrote ‘Boker Tov’ out of a need to remind myself to choose the light, even when there are clouds. We run, get disappointed, fall, and then a small moment of grace comes that gets us back on track. If this song makes someone start their day with a smile, say ‘thank you’ even for no reason, I’ve done my part.”
