Raphael Melloul and Kobi Brummer join forces for a new duet with lyrics from the weekly Torah portion “Hashkifa,” a song composed by Eli Klein a decade ago for Raphael Melloul. Kobi, who was exposed to the melody a few years ago, asked Rafael for the right to sing it, and recently, when Rafael approached him about producing the song, the idea of ​​joining forces for a joint duet was born of its own accord, with an arrangement and musical production by Eli Klein and Yitzy Berry.

The decision to release the single for the holidays of Tishrei was born following the recent Pesach, when Birchas Kohanim at the Kot was held in a reduced format. The words of the prayer, which the kohanim say at the end of the blessing, now take on a meaning of cry and hope. The song is also accompanied by a special clip filmed at the Yeshurun ​​synagogue and in the alleys of Jerusalem.
