In Jewish tradition, the period of the Three Weeks is an introspective time of mourning. While reflecting on the baseless hatred which caused the destruction of our temple, we hope to rectify those past misdeeds through baseless love.
“Acheinu” is a prayer for all of our brothers and sisters, a hope that they may find peace, light, and redemption. It is a message we need more every day.
