Nachum Segal Welcomes Dudu Fisher to JM in the AM to Discuss Leket Israel
Nachum spoke with Dudu Fisher about Leket Israel and his upcoming Chol Hamoed concert to support their important work. Leket Israel was founded in 2003 to rescue excess, nutritious food that would have otherwise been destroyed and redirected to people in need. Seven years later, they have become Israel’s umbrella organization for donations of surplus food. With a committed lineup of volunteers and staff members providing more than 110 tons of food per week to over 230 soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior citizen centers and other social service organizations around Israel. Dudu discussed his upcoming concert to support Leket Israel that will be taking place on September 28, Tuesday night, Chol Hamoed, with Colin Schachat and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dudi Sebba. As usual, it was a great conversation between Nachum and one of his Jewish Heroes. Click HERE to listen or use the player below.
