Uri Segal’s Song of Longing For Rebbe Nachman: “Uman”
Every Breslov Chassid who feels that Rebbe is literally saving his life, desires with all his heart, to fulfill the holy and sublime directive to visit the Rebbe’s gravesite in Uman for Rosh Hashanah.
After facing obstacles and delays ordained from Above, I am happy and excited to serve as an emissary of our Father in Heaven and release my debut song, which expresses my intense yearning to travel to Uman for Rosh Hashanah.
Let us pray, in a spirit of mutual responsibility, for those who wish to come but are prevented from doing so; may they—along with all other Breslov Chassidim—merit attending the holy gathering in Uman for Rosh Hashanah. May it be His will that, through unity and brotherhood, we merit bringing about the complete Redemption very soon—Amen, may it be His will.
