Simche Friedman Presents: Chabad Deveikut Niggun on The Words of The Ba’al HaTanya: “Dich Alein”
A month before the outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian War, the Hasidic singer Simche Friedman visited the Tziyun of Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi – the Alter Rebbe in the town of Hadich.
He saw that on the Parochet located in the synagogue near the Tziyun was embroidered the saying that was commonly said by the Alter Rebbe: “I want nothing, neither your עולם הבא, or your גן עדן. I only want you for yourself!” – “Dich Alein“!
Simche adapted these sacred words to the ‘Chabad Devekut Nigun for Shabbat Prayers’, which is also attributed to the Alter Rebbe.
In honor of כד טבת,Yom HaHilula, he presents to the audience this Hasidic Niggun, which was composed by the Holy Tziyun in Hadich.
