Chassidic Elul, in a Mediterranean Performance: Avichai In A New Elul Medley: ”Kisufim 1″

Ahead of the Days of Rachamim and Selichos, Avichai launches ‘Kisufim 1‘ – an exciting Elul medley that weaves together Chassidic classics in a warm and soulful Mediterranean performance. The combination of familiar Elul melodies and contemporary Mediterranean arrangements gives listeners a connecting, touching and heart-warming experience.

The medley is the first part of Avichai‘s new soul project, and is a continuation of his musical journey that began about three years ago with the hit Melech Basadot, which captured the hearts of listeners and became a song identified with the days of Elul. Now he returns with another work that connects the past and the present, between classics and an innovative musical path.

The musical production is by Avishai Uzan, about whom Avishai writes in particular: “Avishai Uzan embroidered this whole thing and managed to accurately convey the emotions with the notes. When he sent me this production for the first time, I started crying.”
