A Medley Entirely Composed of ‘Kevodo’! Zanvil Weinberger, Mendy Brandwein & The Malchut & Chasidimlech Choirs
6 melodies in on! Watch a live and spectacular performance from a huge wedding that took place last winter at the Avenue event center. On stage are Zanvil Weinberger, the Malchut Choir, the Chasidimlech Children’s Choir conducted by Yanki Levinger and Mendy Brandwein‘s extended orchestra.
At the bar mitzvah, they perform together a medley composed by Pinchas Bichler, which includes no less than six ‘Kevodo‘ melodies from all times and from all shades of the musical spectrum. Starting with the ancient Hoiznitsa ‘Kevodo‘ of R’ Zeidel Rovner z”l and the sweeping ‘Kevodo‘ of the Pittsburgh Rebbe zt”l, through the cantorial ‘Kevodo‘ of Shmuel Malevsky z”l and the march of the ‘Kevodo‘ of R’ Moshe Goldman z”l, to the ‘Kevodo‘ of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak and of course, for dessert, the beloved ‘Kevodo‘ of Lipa Schmelzer to the tune of Pinky Weber.
