The Ayeka Project & Yossi Zucker With A New Wedding Song “Od Yishoma”
On July 11th, 2024, The Ayeka Project organized a unique and extraordinary concert at an exclusive location in New York City, showcasing the talents of Yossi Zucker, who had recently achieved success with his single “Ani Kan“, a collaboration with 8th Day from the Gimel Tammuz EP. He was joined by 8th Day and Israeli singer-songwriter Mati Shriki. Yossi’s style of writing and the message of Ayeka is truly unlike anything else out there. The music draws on various Jewish traditions and incorporates elements of rock, folk, and world music. The music is often introspective and spiritual in nature, with lyrics that explore themes such as self-discovery, personal growth, and the search for meaning and purpose in life.
With the summer over and wedding season back on, Yossi is releasing his newest single Od Yishoma. When asked about his new song Yossi replied , “When listening to songs with similar lyrics, it’s the tune that ultimately gives the song a new meaning and possibly even a new message. So in contrast to other versions of Od Yishama, this rendition is slower and more patient, allowing for a more heartfelt prayer for the realization of Jeremiah’s prophecy.”
