K’sheani – Klatzko Family – Composed by Benzion Klatzko

K’sheani – Klatzko Family – Composed by Benzion Klatzko

This song uses the words of the Imrei Chaim, as he explains that each word of the verse “And I, My prayers should come before you, G-d, at a time of acceptance.”

The explanation is, that when I reflect on myself (the spiritual level that I am on), and when I gaze at the shallowness of my prayers, and when I realize that these same prayers must reach the King of all Kings, the Holy One Blessed is He, then I realize that my prayers must find tremendous acceptance in order for them to be answered.

Rabbi Klatzko originally composed this tune K’sheani. Eventually he used this tune for “The Chupah Song,” (sung by Pinny Schachter). He is happy to present this song with the original words that the tune was intended for.
