This melody we learned some years ago from our dear sweet friend R’ Gershon Albert. Its a niggun of gratitude, but the deepest kind. It’s one thing to be grateful for the beautiful memories, but its a whole ‘nother ball game when we are grateful for all of the darkness and challenging moments life threw at us. At the time it seems like, how can I get through this? But years later when we can go back and say, gevald thank you HaShem for all the shmutz and dirt, all the tears, because I’m now a better stronger person.
