Yom HaShoah Release: “Memories” by Yaakov Markowitz (A Capella Cover)
In a new powerful and heartfelt cover, Yaakov Markowitz’s A Capella rendition of “Memories” gives us a fresh vocal take on the legendary song by Abie Rotenberg. With Yom HaShoah upon us, perhaps each of us can take a moment to reflect and take in the lyrics from Abie that have penetrated the hearts of so many. As time continues to pass from the horrific events of 75+ years ago, it’s important that we adopt a proactive mindset in preserving the memories and lessons of the Holocaust, particularly as we’ve been rudely reminded in recent times that anti-semitism is far from gone….
