The Sephardic Ma Yedidus – Shlomo Hadarshan – Composed by Benzion Klatzko
Ma Yedidus is another in a series of Shabbat Zemirot that Rabbi Benzion Klatzko composed to add to the beauty and sanctity of Shabbat in his home. Rabbi Klatzko‘s versatility as a composer is on display, as he tries his hand at composing a zemer that has the sound and spirit of the Sephardic neshama. It is sung by the well known Badchan, Shlomo Hadarshan, who is a brother-in-law of Rabbi Klatzko.
(BTW, he is Ashkenazi! Enjoy the tune and have some fun with the video, which we all could use right about now)!
